A Shame for Me

Amidst the broken shore,

standing taller than the waves,

I faced it all!

In the scorching heat,

I stood strong and still,

With diminishing hopes, I faced it all!

But so rude of you, you made me fall,
fall to the ugliest me,
fall to the most unpleasant me,
fall to the worst of all times!

I stand here, shattered into pieces,
with shattered dreams in my eyes,
with shattered faith in my heart,
falling piece by piece to the ground!

This love has become a shame for me,
Breach of trust has become a shame for me,
Aching heart has become a shame for me,
This inexorable life has become a shame for me!
