The So-called Delhi Metro-"Meri Metro"

So this goes out , against the so much appreciated Delhi Metro. The Metro is not at all the same what it used to be.. I remember all the office goers parking their vehicles at the parking and then taking up Metro upto their office.
Far gone are those days. Now metro is nothing better than the over crowded Mumbai-Locals. I agree its not as crowded but the fact remains true that Metro is a failure when it comes to cater the transit demands during the peak hour. The basic concept underlying the development of such a transit system in a metropolitan is that it should be able to cater to the needs during peak rush.
The Metro instills the very own dilli-wala image of being unsafe for ladies, though they have dedicated a separate coach for ladies but if any females dares to enter the other coaches,, What they hear is some ill-mannered people chanting their local slangs at far-more-than-audible tone and if someone accompanying the female asks them to mind the way they are talking, He gets a prompt reply to jerk off and mind his business. So it is not just all about Metro being too crowded, its also about what kinda sick-with-their-attitude kinda people board with you.

The story for any female does not end here, They are teased and harassed while they stand amidst the crowd, it feels to me as if someone has let a chicken in the crowd of hungry wolves, They tap her, they fall over her, they stare her and sometimes they even follow her. I mean this gets ridiculous at times.

So is it so that Metro remains to be good for males?
My answer is gonna be a clear-cut NO!
They crowded coaches with people literally falling out of the gates as soon as they open at the station. The boarders and deboarders seem to be in a dilemma ,whether to take you inside the coach or drag you out. You are literally left at their mercy.
Moreover the god-forsaken delays make your day the worst ever.  Repeated delays are very frequent for some damn reasons .And the announcements, I dont see a point why they have to announce again and again that "next station is blah blah" or "Kripya-doori-ka -dhyaan-rakhein" , Announce it twice, but why making several announcements several times. This makes no sense and may sometimes make commuters feel uncomfortable and irritated.

These dyas it seems that the Metro is coming up as a new advertisement  board for various brands, I was really happy to see several ads regarding various schooling and anti-tobbaco campaigns run by Government, But it feels senseless to display "How spicy is McSpicy??" or "What MTS has to offer?" or "Why move on with Fastrack?"

So to me The Grand Delhi Metro is nothing more than a Modern Counterpart of Blue Line buses!
