So after Anna Hazare, the Nation is witnessing the miraculous fight of a new superman, known as Baba Ramdev, who claims to fight against corruption with his hunger strike. I dont know for what reason, but to me this fast unto death seems more like a political move, with partial intentions of hiding his own property and vast empire set up under the name of religion, and partially it seems like a fashion stunt.
I support the cause that he is fighting for, but this is definetly not a way to go about it. There are more sensible options available for high-profile people like Baba( who has various ministers inaugrating his various facilities :P ) And to gather an army of people who may go against the law enforcing agencies at the time of any leagal action against this movement.
To this I just have one reply "There is no point in turning a non-violent protest into such an acitivity, this may cause uneccessary trouble and may cause riots and communal disharmony, if something goes out of control or if some anti-social elements get into it to take advantage of such a banner."
To facilitate such a gathering and training of an army of followers is nothing more than mere criticisation of blind faith of the followers. Coz people may gather for a calm protest, but Baba is the one who is diverting the followers on to this path of agression.
Baba since you have now come back to your senses after getting admitted to hospital,, Have a look around yourself, The endless political blame game has grown out of your satyagrah..
Whats the reason that a person buried so much deep into Yoga and Ayurveda, is turning towards such an unusual acitivity. I get a certain kinda stinking political smell out of all this, Is hedoing it because there is a general human tendency to blame others in order to cover up for their sins and ill deeds??
whats going on??
to go on hungerstrike and fasts, is that the only option left?
I would say "Arre bass bhi karo Baba!"
NOTE: To all those who are deeply immersed into the faith and trust towrds Baba, I dont intend to hurt your feelings but I just beg to differ and stay bit more rationale.
