The Dodge Game

==================================================================================After a dark, cold night, its again a sunny day at Chandausi Railway Station. Another train has arrived and a bunch of both species have gathered along the train.
Some eyes desperately stare at the windows in anticipation of getting leftovers of meals. Some are lucky, they get to lick the tiny bits of food sticking to the paper-plates.I see my mother hoping around the rail tracks as I stand on the platform.Usually I cling to her while she moves around.

Unlike my mother, I am way too afraid to jump off the platform. Yesterday, one of my siblings was standing on the empty railroad adjacent to a halted devil. He had been staring at a man who was eating some food that smelled very pretty. But suddenly another devil rolled on the previously vacant tracks. Every monkey jumped off its way. But when the train passed away, my sibling was stuck to the ruthless metal bars. He did not respond to my actions. I even pulled his tail but he remained motionless. There is a strange viscous red-coloured liquid oozing out of his body, it doesn't even taste pleasant. Everyone says he is gone too far away, they tell me that he was eaten by the devil and it hurts a lot when it strikes you.My mother says that similarly my father was also consumed by another huge devil on wheels. The fear of devil has penetrated so deep within me that it seems impossible for me to jump.
I am so afraid but I have to jump onto the track and dodge the devil, else I will die hungry!

Sometimes fear has to be set aside, to live on!
